The seats, backs and armrests are made from a mix of recycled polypropylene and recycled polyamide which helps reduce plastic waste. Its special charm: The slightly mottled surfaces not only look vibrant, but with their unique patterning makes each one unique.

Why products from recycled material?
As an industrial processor, HEWI has always been aware of its particular responsibility with regard to resources and energy. HEWI will continue to utilise the potential of plastics in the future and follow the principles of a circular economy. Products made from recycled material reduce plastic waste and require less energy and water to produce and thus generate fewer CO2 emissions.
PA - Polyamides
Polyamides belong to a family called thermoplastics. In general, they are colourless and have no characteristic odour or taste. They have a very smooth surface and are highly resistant to water, dilute acids and organic solvents.
PP - Polypropylene
Polypropylene also belongs to the thermoplastics family. It is also odourless, skin-friendly, physiologically harmless and is therefore often used in medical products and sports textiles. In the production process, the granulate is heated until it is liquid and then shaped.
